[ARCHIVED] Mayor Kos announces Opening of School Athletic Complexes for Residential Use

The gates to the athletic complexes will be open effective immediately, however while school is in active session, will be open only on weekends through June 20, 2016 (Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays). The athletic complexes include both the fields and tennis courts, and will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

When the current school session is out for summer vacation, the gates will then be open for residential use Monday thru Sunday from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Summer vacation begins June 21, 2016 and is through August 28th.

Please also note that field usage is first reserved for school team events and will be given first priority.

School Superintendent Rege said “The mayor and I have been working on this for some time and with the help of Ron Simard, the Director of Maintenance and the School Custodians we are now able to provide this access to our tracks and tennis courts. It is my hope that the public will respect these resources so that we may continue to make them available for public use.”
