CITY HALL TEMPORARY PARKING PLAN
The City’s contractor working on the City Hall's NEW parking lot has made significant progress this week with the completion of base course pavement yesterday.
As of Thursday, June 9, 2021, the existing Front Street parking lot across the street from City Hall will be closed.
Four temporary handicap parking spaces have been created between the Rivoli Building and the old Library and can be accessed from Springfield Street. Each of these spots has been signed and temporary pavement stripes are in place to demark those spaces. Anyone that has handicap placards should park in this area and utilize the alley door that is closest to Front Street. There is a doorbell to ring the Door Monitor (who will open the door for you to gain access to the building). We ask for your patience, as the Door Monitor is covering two doors during this time.
This plan will be in place until final pavement and striping are completed in the new lot, which is currently scheduled for the end of June, once electrical and landscaping scope components are completed by the contractor.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
