Chicopee Municipal buildings to Re-Open to the Public beginning June 1, 2021

"Effective May 29, 2021, the Chicopee Health Department will rescind the "Mask Order Mandate" that went into effect April 27, 2020. CHICOPEE, MA – All City of Chicopee municipal buildings will re-open to the public on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. City Hall normal business hours will remain 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Members of the public will be required to wear a face-covering if not fully vaccinated per Chicopee Health Department guidelines and only a limited number of individuals will be permitted in the business areas of municipal offices at a single time. Additionally, the City requests that anyone showing signs of sickness or having symptoms of COVID-19 refrain from entering any municipal building and instead seek other methods to conduct business. 

While all city operations have remained operational, municipal buildings have been closed to the public since November 30, 2020, as part of the City’s effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and protect the public and City Staff.
