The City of Chicopee releases a Request for Proposals soliciting development proposals for Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers, Independent Testing Laboratories (Medical), and Adult-Use Marijuana Establishments within the City.

CHICOPEE, MA – May 4, 2021, The City of Chicopee, through its Purchasing Department, will release a Requests for Proposals (RFPs) soliciting development proposals for the establishment of Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers (MTCs), Independent Testing Laboratories (Medical), and Adult-Use Marijuana Establishments within the City’s boundaries. The RFP for MTCs, Independent Testing Laboratories, and Adult-Use Marijuana Establishments (Bid #21-20) will be available to any interested party wishing to submit a proposal for either facility beginning on Wednesday, May 4th, 2021 at 11:00 am. All entities that wish to be considered a viable party for Host Community Agreement (HCA) negotiations and that intend to apply for a Special Permit for the establishment of either an MTC, Independent Testing Laboratory, and/or an Adult-Use Marijuana Establishment within the City of Chicopee must submit a proposal in response to the RFP.

Following submission, all proposals will be evaluated and scored against the evaluation criteria as detailed in the RFP.

Proposals are due to the Purchasing Department on June 30, 2021, at 11:00 am.
