COVID-19 VACCINE SITES
RIVERMILLS SENIOR CENTER VACCINE CLINIC
The RMSC Clinic will be open, by appointment only, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 4:15 PM. The vaccine appointments will be based on dose availability with the expectation of vaccinating up to 160 doses per day, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 4:15 PM. There will be Saturday appointments available as doses are available.
To make an appointment to receive the Moderna vaccine, please call the RiverMills Senior Center at 413-534-3698 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The RMSC staff will provide the appointment time for each person who registers to be vaccinated. Holyoke Health Center staff will screen people when they first arrive on the clinic premises, direct them to a secure area to receive the vaccination, and the RMSC staff will monitor them for any adverse reaction for 15 minutes and then provide each person with their second appointment time before leaving.
Please note: The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for persons 18 years of age and older.
CASTLE OF KNIGHTS MASS VAX SITE
The COK Site will be open, by appointment only, Wednesday through Friday. All vaccine appointments will be based on dose availability with the expectation of vaccinating up to 800 doses per day.
To pre-register for an appointment to receive the Moderna vaccine, please register at https://vaccinesignup.mass.gov/#/
The clinic staff will verify each appointment for each person who pre-registered through the above portal. Staff will then direct them to a secure area to receive the vaccination, then they are directed to a waiting area for monitoring for any adverse reaction for 15-30 minutes. Each vaccinated person will be provided with their second appointment before leaving.
PLEASE NOTE: To help older people and others who are unable to use the form, family members, caregivers, or other companions can fill out the form on behalf of someone else. People who do not have internet access or someone to fill the form out for them can call 2-1-1 to pre-register.
Massachusetts receives a limited supply of COVID-19 vaccine doses from the federal government each week. Due to high demand and very limited supply, there are a limited number of appointments available for eligible people. Please keep in mind that it could take several weeks or longer to be contacted with an opportunity to schedule your appointment.

Anyone who lives, works, or studies in Massachusetts is eligible for the vaccine.
However, Massachusetts Governor Baker’s vaccine distribution plan prioritizes people 65 and older and people 16 and older, who have at least one chronic medical condition, putting them at increased risk.
Medical conditions placing people at high risk include cancer, chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart conditions, solid organ transplantation, obesity and severe obesity, pregnancy, sickle cell disease, and type 2 diabetes.
