[ARCHIVED] Sale of Real Estate at Public Auction

Notice is hereby given that on Monday, November 16, 2015 commencing at 5:30 p.m. at Chicopee City Hall City Council Chambers, 274 Front Street, Chicopee, Massachusetts, acting on behalf of the City of Chicopee and in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 60 (as amended), I shall offer for sale at public auction the hereinafter described properties acquired by said City by foreclosure of the tax title thereon:

LOCATION & DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTIES TO BE SOLD:

1. A parcel of land with any buildings thereon, containing about .14 Acres situated at 44 New York Avenue and being described as Parcel #0130-00007 in the Office of the Assessors, City of Chicopee and being further described in the Hampden County Registry of Deeds, Book 2446, Page 329 and Book 2466, Page 31. For title, see also Book 20376, Page 142.

2. A parcel of land with any buildings thereon, containing about .38 Acres, situated at 65 Rolf Avenue and being described as Parcel #0448-00050 in the Office of the Assessors, City of Chicopee and being further described in the Hampden County Registry of Deeds, Book 4710, Page 00155. For title, see also Book 20466, Page 337.

Minimum deposit upon successful bid will be $5,000.00, per property, payable in the form of a certified check, bank check or money order payable to the City of Chicopee. If the City accepts your bid, the deposit shall be nonrefundable

Any and all bids at such sale or any adjournment thereof may be rejected if, in my opinion, no bid is made which approximates the fair market value of the property.

All property will be sold subject to the Terms and Conditions of Sale, a copy of which is attached hereto.

If you wish to receive a Bidder’s Information Package, please deliver cash, or a bank check or money order payable to the City of Chicopee Treasurer’s Office, in the amount of $25.00, to the Treasurer’s Office.
