[ARCHIVED] CITY OF CHICOPEE MAYOR’S OFFICE PRESENTS THE 2019 HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACKULAR

PRESS RELEASE

CITY OF CHICOPEE MAYOR’S OFFICE PRESENTS THE 2019 HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACKULAR

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The City of Chicopee’s Mayors Office is proud to present the 2019 Halloween SPOOKtackular, a downtown event that will take place on the 29th of October from 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM, in the heart of downtown Chicopee!

This event is FREE for Chicopee students age 12 and under (each will receive a wristband upon entrance). Children are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costumes. The event will offer to the children trick-or-treating, refreshments, DJ & dancing, and a costume parade!

This year's event will feature a Haunted King Ward Bus for those who dare to enter (special ‘lights on’ times for those that are scared will be offered). This event will also open the doors to many of our downtown businesses for the attendees to visit.

"Over the last few years, the Halloween SPOOKtackular has grown into a much-anticipated event bringing together over 2,000 children,” Mayor Richard J. Kos said. “This brings families together safely to enjoy the holiday with entertainment, and fun activities. We are proud to put on this event for Chicopee students and would like to give a special thank you to this year's event sponsors who help make it possible."

Mayor Kos’s Communication & Special Project Manager, Bobbi Mabb expressed: "The 2019 Halloween SPOOKtackular is sure to excite and inspire even more creative costumes than ever before! We look forward to hosting our friends, and neighbors in this fun kid-friendly community event."

This year’s major event sponsors are J.Polep, PeoplesBank, Polish National Credit Union, and Westfield Bank. For more information call Bobbi Mabb at 413-594-1506 or email bmabb@chicopeema.gov.
