As a reminder the Chicopee Landfill will be closing on June 30th, 2019. The landfill will continue the existing permit system, as well as the same hours of operation until the closure. These hours are as follows:

Tuesday – Friday 7AM – 4 PM
Saturday 7AM – Noon
Sunday and Monday Closed

The new recycling drop off center to be located at the Baskin Drive DPW Headquarters will open for resident drop-off upon closure of the landfill. Permits will still be required to use this drop off center. More information about this recycling center will be mailed out to residents in the coming weeks.
