Mayor Richard J. Kos announced today that the City has signed a Services Agreement with 360 Recycling, LLC. This agreement will allow the City to continue to pick up and dispose of yard waste on a bi-weekly basis.  

The City will pay 360 Recycling, LLC, twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per ton of yard waste, and fifteen dollars ($15.00) per ton of wood waste delivered to the their site in Westfield, Massachusetts.

Please note that the Chicopee Landfill will remain open for resident drop off services until the closure this coming March. Chicopee residents must still pre-register with the Chicopee DPW by calling 413-594-3557 if they have not done so, and the existing permit system remains in place.

“Given the closing of the landfill, this contract enables the City to maintain an essential service for our residents after the March closing,” said Mayor Richard J. Kos.
