The City of Chicopee with its federal Community Development Block grant was pleased to contribute to the Chicopee Boys and Girls Club. Over 150 volunteers along with KaBOOM, a national nonprofit, built the new playgound in under 6 hours. The CDBG funds in the amount of $10,000 were the matching funds to the KaBOOM grants.
