[ARCHIVED] Mayor Kos announces return of Mayoral Staff

Mayor Richard J. Kos today announced the reappointment of his office staff to continue in their positions in 2018.

John Beaulieu will remain as Mayoral Chief of Staff. He previously has served as a member of the License Commission, youth director for the Knights of Columbus Council 4044, President of the Chicopee Comp Friends of Football Booster Club, member of the Pioneer Valley USO and Westover Galaxy Council, member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4044 and the Bishop Joseph F. McGuire Assembly 4th Degree.

Benjamin Strepka returns as Special Projects Manager. He is a 2013 graduate of the Isenberg School of Business at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and a 2008 graduate of Chicopee High School. Previously Benjamin worked for the Parks and Recreation Maintenance Department and continues to work part-time as a rink operator at Fitzpatrick Ice Rink in Holyoke.

Janet Olbrych will continue as the Mayor’s Administrative Assistant. She formerly worked for the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company’s New England Division in Springfield and for Valassis Sales and Marketing as assistant to the Vice President of Client Marketing in Windsor, CT.  She is a graduate of the former Notre Dame High School in Springfield and earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Holyoke Community College. 

“I look forward to continuing to work with such a dedicated staff committed to making a better Chicopee,” said Mayor Kos.
