[ARCHIVED] Chicopee announces swearing-in of new Police Officer

Mayor Richard Kos has announced the swearing-in of new Police Officer James LaFlamme in a ceremony that took place at City Hall yesterday.

“I would like to welcome Mr. LaFlamme to the department,” said Chief William Jebb. “His experience is a welcomed addition to our complement. I thank Mayor Kos and the City Council for their support.”

LaFlamme, a 2006 University of Massachusetts-Amherst grad and life-long resident of Chicopee, transferred to the Chicopee Police Department from the Orange Police Department. He brings over 8 years of experience to the force.
