Mayor Richard Kos Wednesday announced the appointment of city resident Brian W. Suchy as the cities third Assessor. Suchy fills a seat formerly occupied by longtime Assessor Stanley Iwanicki who ran unopposed for the Collector’s position, requiring a mayoral appointment.

Suchy, a longtime business professional has over 20 years of sales and customer service experience spending time at General Motors Acceptance Corporation, Pioneer Management Systems Incorporated, The Pomco Group, and most recently as an Insurance Specialist at Woodbrook Insurance Agency.

He also is a graduate of American International College with a Bachelors of Science degree concentrating in Management, as well as a minor in Accounting.
