Mayor Richard Kos has announced the swearing-in of new
permanent Police Sergeant Douglas Lambert that took place in a ceremony at CityHall today that included family and fellow officers.

“I am pleased that we will continue to maintain the
level and quality of leadership in public safety in the City of Chicopee,” saidMayor Kos.

 Douglas Lambert, a 2005 Westfield State University
grad, has been with the Chicopee Police Department since 2007. He has held therole of acting police sergeant since 2016.
