[ARCHIVED] Mayor Richard Kos appoints John Hale to the Valley Opportunity Council Board of Directors

Mayor Richard Kos announced today that he has appointed John M. Hale, J.D., as a member of the Valley Opportunity Council Board of Directors on behalf of the City of Chicopee. Mr. Hale is currently a professor of criminal justice/pre-law at the College of Our Lady of the Elms. Formerly, he was a captain at the Hamden County Sheriff's Department and prior to that served our country in the U.S. Air Force as Master Sergeant for 23 years.

"I thank John for his willingness to continue to serve his community in accepting this appointment to the Board," said Mayor Kos. "I look forward to his continued contributions to the City and the region." 


Mr. Hale, a Chicopee resident, is a graduate of the Western New England University School of Law.
