[ARCHIVED] Marie Laflamme inducted as Honorary Wing Commander

The Treasurer of the
City of Chicopee, Marie Laflamme, was inducted as the 439 Airlift Wing HonoraryWing Commander for 2017 in a ceremony at Westover Air Reserve Base last week.

Marie Laflamme is a
life-long Chicopee resident and currently serves as the City Treasurer. Previously,she has served on the Greater Chicopee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors,
Chicopee Electric Light Commission, and building committee for the EmilyPartyka Library, as well as owning multiple local businesses. Marie currently
sits on the Board of Directors for Sunshine Village, Westover MetropolitanDevelopment Corporation, and the Galaxy Community Council. She also
participates in fundraising for the USO, Employer Support of the Guard andReserve, Young Marines, and Civic Air Patrol and volunteers at the Holyoke
Soldiers Home.

The honorary commanderprogram was designed to encourage the exchange of ideas, experiences, and
friendships between Westover leadership and key members of the local community.
