[ARCHIVED] Mayor Kos welcomes New Special Projects Manager

Mayor Richard J. Kos today announced the appointment of Benjamin Strepka as Special Projects Manager. He is a 2013 graduate of the Isenberg School of Business at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and a 2008 graduate of Chicopee High School. Previously Benjamin worked for the Parks and Recreation Maintenance Department for the previous 3 years.


“I am excited to bring Benjamin on as part of my staff,” said Mayor Kos. “He is dedicated to improving our City and I look forward to working with him to keep the City informed.”


“I want to thank Mayor Kos for this incredible opportunity to work for his office and the City,” said Strepka. “I am honored and excited to begin work as we continue to make the City better every day.”


Benjamin is replacing Joel McAuliffe, who has taken a position as District Director for Senator Eric Lesser’s office. Benjamin completes the Mayor’s Office staff as Special Projects Manager, joining Chief of Staff John Beaulieu and Staff Assistant Janet Olbrych.


Strepka began work January 3, 2017.
