[ARCHIVED] Chicopee announces sponsors for annual Bright Nights for Seniors trip

Mayor Kos today announced the sponsors for the 2016 Bright Nights for Seniors trip which is provided to Chicopee seniors ages 55 and older. PeoplesBank (Dec. 13), Polish National Credit Union (Dec. 14), and Westfield Bank (Dec. 15) have each committed to sponsoring an evening for the event that takes place December 13-15 delivered by Peter Pan Bus Lines.

600 Chicopee seniors will be given the opportunity to visit Forrest Park and their spectacular display of holiday lighting with a dinner and desert provided before and after, all at no cost to them.

“This is a great event that so many of our seniors enjoy,” said Mayor Kos. “We appreciate our sponsors PeoplesBank, Polish National, and Westfield Bank for their commitment to keeping this wonderful holiday tradition alive.”
Seniors can sign up for the event by attending a sign up event tomorrow, November 18, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the RiverMills Senior Center at 5 West Main Street.

Now through the event, seniors are able to sign up online or by calling 413-594-1500.
