Responsibilities
The commission shall have the exclusive management and control of any land and building which the city may provide for a public park, playground or recreational purpose. It may prepare and equip the same in a manner suitable for a park, playground or recreational activities. The assistant superintendent of parks and recreation shall be in charge of, coordinate and direct all recreational activities for the Parks and Recreation Department. They may make rules and regulations in regard to use of the grounds and apparatus thereon and the hours, time and by whom said grounds and apparatus may be used.
