  1. Chicopee Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

    December 6, 2019, 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM @ Market Square Island

    The City of Chicopee's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony presented by Mayor Richard J. Kos's office. This beloved city tradition features music and performances and the official lighting of the City’s Christmas Tree on Market Square Island. Children will warm up with complimentary hot chocolate and cookies as they listen to the holiday classics performed by local performers. Kids will enjoy holiday crafts and Santa Claus will make a special guest appearance and are welcome to take a photo with Santa after the ceremony in his very own suite. DJ Nick Gagne of Preztige Worldwide will again serve as Master of Ceremonies for the evening adding more holiday magic and cheer. Chicopee’s Tree Lighting Ceremony is free and open to the public. All are invited to the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony that is sponsored by the following local businesses: Pilgrim Interiors, PeoplesBank, Polish National Credit Union, and Westfield Bank and help us spread holiday cheer to over 500 children.
