  1. Lifeguard Training Course

    March 24, 2018, 10:00 AM - April 7, 2018, 4:00 PM @ Chicopee High School Pool

    The Parks Department is holding an American Red Cross lifeguard certification classes at the Chicopee High School Pool. The classes will run Saturday March 24, 31 and April 7. Classes will be held from (10 AM– 4 PM.). Participants must attend all 3 classes. The Cost is $295/person. This course will include certification in Lifeguard Training, CPR/AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and Community First Aid. Participants must be 16 years of age on or before the end of the course. All participants must take a pre-skills test on the first day of class to be officially enrolled in the course. Register & pay at the Parks Dept.

    Martial Arts, regardless of a physical or intellectual disability, the sport is a GREAT way to get exercise while building strength, improving coordination, flexibility, and making new friends! Some upper arm strength is required. Wear comfortable and flexible clothing with sneakers. Bring a water bottle. *For anyone 4-22; Anyone with a disability or physical impairment can participate. Must have some mobility in arms or legs.*
