City Planner, Lee Pouliot expressed: "The 2019 Downtown GetDown is sure to excite and inspire even more than the first four years! We look forward to hosting our community members, friends, and neighbors in this event. The asset that is Chicopee Center will spotlight local businesses, food vendors, artists, craftspeople, and performers. We expect to turn out large numbers of both returning and new guests to whom we will introduce the neighborhood of Chicopee Center."
"Over the last few years, the Downtown Get Down has grown into a much-anticipated event bringing together thousands of people from all over,” Mayor Richard J. Kos said. “This marks the 5th year and brings two full days of entertainment, shopping, and fun activities for the entire family to enjoy. I encourage everyone to come down, support your local businesses and join in the excitement.”
