On January 15, 2018, Mayor Richard J. Kos, City Officials, Downtown Business Owners, family and friends joined to celebrate the one year anniversary of GoodWorks Coffee House located at 46 Center St.
GoodWorks was assisted with financial support from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and technical expertise from the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center.
GoodWorks Coffee House is a family owned coffee shop offering fair trade and locally sourced products. The business is open weekdays from 8am-4pm as well as Sundays from 8:00am-4:00pm. On Thursday’s the coffee house is open from 8am-7pm as GoodWorks opens their doors to aspiring local artists such as musicians, poets, authors and painters where they can showcase their talents in the coffee house.
“We are proud to see the success of GoodWorks over the last year, and look forward to many more years of continued prosperity. We had hoped that by dedicating our CDBG funds towards economic development, that the City would be able to assists businesses, big and small,” said Mayor Richard J. Kos.
