School Vacation Programs

Fun in February Vacation Camp

A highly interactive program for children 5-13 that is held at Barry School, 44 Connell St.  Five year olds must at least be in kindergarten to participate.  The program runs from 8:30-3:00 with drop off and pick up at the school location no later than 3:00.  This is highly supervised by Parks Department staff, as well as numerous members of the Chicopee High School NHS (National Honor Society).

The mornings begin with a sign in by parents/guardians, followed by controlled board games/activities.  After this, kids are split up into rotating groups where they will take part in active gym games and arts and crafts activities.  We then prep for the daily field trip by handing out name tags and wrist bands, and putting kids into small groups before traveling by bus to the location of the day.

Parents/guardians can sign up for 1, 2 or all 3 days!  Lunch and drinks are provided on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Please bring a bag lunch for Thursday.
