Rededication: William F. Davitt Memorial Bridge

The rededication of the William F. Davitt Memorial Bridge was held on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. The structure is named in honor of Father William F. Davitt, a First Lieutenant in the Army cited for bravery on August 6, 1918 during operations along the Vesle River in which he rescued forty wounded soldiers.
