Rules & Regulations for Golf Play
Tournaments, Leagues & Guests
  1. Children under 10 are not permitted on the golf course unless accompanied and supervised by an adult.
  2. Damage to Chicopee Country Club property shall be paid for by the person responsible.
  3. Chicopee Country Club will not be responsible for loss or damage to property of anyone using these facilities.
  4. No one under the age of 17 will be permitted to drive power carts.
  5. Men's Dress Code: The following is regarded as appropriate dress:
    • Golf shirts with sleeves and collars (neat collarless shirts may also be worn)
    • Golf shoes (spikeless)
    • Mid-thigh walking shorts
    • Slacks or neat jeans
    Unacceptable Attire:
    • Bare tops
    • Cutoffs
    • Sweat pants
    • Tank tops
  6. Women's Dress Code: The following is regarded as appropriate dress:
    • Golf shoes (spikeless)
    • Mid-thigh shorts and skirts
    • Neat jeans
    • Slacks
    • Tops with at least 2-inch-wide shoulder straps
  7. Unless otherwise posted, all power carts shall be required to stay on the cart paths. When posted, the 90 degree rule must be followed. Power carts are not allowed on the tee areas or within 30 feet of the green except when on the cart path.
  8. Hand carts are not permitted within 20 feet of the green and may not be rolled onto:
    • Any part of the tee areas
    • Between bunkers and greens
    • Greens
    • Through bunkers
  9. Replace divots, repair ball marks, and rake bunkers.
  10. Each player must have their own separate bag of clubs.
  11. The course will be marshaled. Slow players will be asked to leave.
  12. All golfers are responsible for personal injury or property damage they cause. All incidents must be reported to the pro shop at once.
  13. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the course during public play except when authorized by Chicopee Country Club. No party or ice coolers are allowed on the course or on rental carts. Use of any controlled substance on the course or in any Chicopee Country Club facility will result in criminal prosecution. Substance abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.
